We are grateful to APG Federal Credit Union (APGFCU) for partnering with Baltimore Hunger Project to help address food insecurity for students across our community.

As part of Hunger Action Month, APGFCU’s Community Impact Committee made a generous $10,000 contribution to BHP to support the expansion of our school pantry program. This funding will help us provide more food to pantries at our partner schools, giving school staff another important resource to respond when students and families need additional support.

But APGFCU’s commitment goes beyond financial support.

Nearly 20 APGFCU employees joined us at our warehouse to organize and assemble shipments of food and pantry items that will be distributed directly to our partner schools.

Partnerships like this are what make our work possible. When companies invest both their resources and their time, they help us respond to hunger in meaningful ways and ensure children have the food and resources they need to learn, grow and thrive.

Thank you to APGFCU and its employees for choosing to stand with Baltimore’s children and families during Hunger Action Month—and throughout the school year.

BHP’s partnership with APGFCU was recently featured in Citybiz.
