Baltimore Hunger Project was recently featured on WJZ13 CBS Baltimore. The news piece was timely as it ran during “Hunger Action Month”. The news spot and write-up discussed Baltimore Hunger Project’s mission and highlighted a current charitable promotion offered by one of its community partners, Papa John’s. Baltimore Hunger Project actively partners with community organizations, local companies and corporations to work toward eliminating childhood hunger.

Through October 24th, Papa John’s will donate $1 to The Papa John’s Foundation for Building Community for every Shaq-a-Roni pizza sold. This foundation helps community-focused organizations such as the Baltimore Hunger Project.

As shown in the below video, the Shaq-a-Roni is a fan favorite extra-large pizza with extra cheese and extra pepperoni. Additional donations will enable Baltimore Hunger Project to provide weekend meals to a greater number of food insecure students.

Regardless of the number of Shaq-a-Ronis sold, The Papa John’s Foundation has generously committed to donating a minimum of $10,000 to the Baltimore Hunger Project.
