As part of our commitment to the community and offering unique opportunities for our employees to give back – PALM (Parents Alliance at Legg Mason) coordinated their first family friendly volunteer event with the Baltimore Hunger Project.  On September 14, 2019, approximately 30 volunteers packed 600 food packages in a little over an hour.  Our young volunteers helped by making notes of encouragement to be included in the food packages.  As a continuation of our volunteer efforts, on September 23, 2019, we participated in the Raven’s #Huddlefor100 initiative, by partnering with BHP for a 2nd time to make Ravens themed cards of encouragement.  We set up card making stations at the Harbor East location and employees stopped by throughout the day to decorate cards.  Some employees even made cards at home with their children and brought them in.  We look forward to strengthening our partnership with BHP by offering up this unique opportunity to volunteer with our families.
