Ravens and BHP’s “Caw to Action”
Help Baltimore Hunger Project Help the Baltimore Ravens
In honor of the NFL’s 100th season, the Baltimore Ravens’ “Huddle for 100” calls for community members to dedicate 100 minutes of service in the Central Maryland area, with a nationwide goal of accumulating 100 million volunteer minutes among all NFL fans during the 2019 season.
Baltimore Hunger Project is proud support “Huddle for 100”! BHP is dedicated to eliminating the growing problem of weekend childhood hunger by feeding bodies and minds. We are bridging the gap between Friday and Monday by consistently providing weekend food packages to children identified as food insecure, in a compassionate and dignified manner.
YOU can join us to help support the thousands of volunteers who are working toward reaching the NFL’s goal . Every minute counts! Come to our facility in Timonium on Monday, September 23rd, 1-3 pm and 5-7pm to help us organize the food that will go into our weekend bags and create inspirational cards for the 600 children who receive these bags each week.
Can’t get to our facility on Monday, September 23rd? No problem! We will give you all of the supplies you need to make the inspirational cards that go into every weekend food bag. Every card created will count toward minutes of service, and will help the Baltimore Ravens and the NFL reach their goal.Fans are invited to document and highlight their volunteerism through social media posts by using #RavensHuddleFor100
, which will also help collect and track the total team minutes being accrued.
