Professional Background or Current Role: Applications Manager, The Whiting-Turner Contracting Co. I oversee the ERP system, corporate software support and the Reporting and Analytics group.
Community Connections: I grew up in the Glen Arm area, went to high school at Perry Hall and college at Towson University. I am also a very active member at my church, Saint Demetrious Greek Orthodox Church on Cub Hill Road in Parkville. I also currently reside in the Parkville area as well.
Interest In Baltimore Hunger Project: After being exposed to BHP through Loyola Leadership Essentials program, I was naïve to the fact that food insecurity spans to areas that are very close to where I live and grew up. After being made aware of how many children this impacts, I felt passionate to assist in whatever capacity I can to assist as many children has possible to become more food secure and have the potential to propel themselves academically and eventually professionally.
