Community Connections:

I grew up in Baltimore County and attended Towson High School. I received my undergraduate accounting degree from Towson University and MBA from University of Baltimore. I am eternally grateful to my mother for the example she set by working hard and putting food on the table while promoting and encouraging education for me and my four siblings.

During my career working in corporate finance leadership roles, I also stayed connected with the community by giving my time to serve a variety of organizations. While at W.R Grace, I also provided leadership for the Grace charitable foundation. In addition, I served on the Board of the Maryland Food Bank where I chaired the Audit and Finance Committee for 5 years. It has also been important to me to stay connected with Towson University where I serve on an advisory board, participate in panel discussions and periodically speak with students.

Interest In Baltimore Hunger Project:

Food insecurity is such a big problem in Maryland and it can have a debilitating effect on children’s physical and personal development. The Baltimore Hunger Project’s mission to eliminate weekend hunger by providing food packages to those in need is making a big difference for thousands of children. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve on this board and help the Baltimore Hunger Project achieve its mission.

Without volunteers, there is no Baltimore Hunger Project.
