Graham R. Johnson, Middle Market Relationship Manager at First National Bank

Name: Graham R. Johnson

Member Since: January 2022

Resides In: Baltimore City

Professional Background or Current Role: I started my career as a CPA in Grant Thornton’s Audit Practice in 2006. In 2011 I transitioned to commercial banking. I now work for First National Bank as a Middle Market Relationship Manager and serve a portfolio of clients delivering a diversified set of financial solutions to meet their banking and operation needs.

Community Connections: I was raised outside of Boston in a town named Hingham until moving to Maryland in 1998 in the middle of my high school career. Outside of three years completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado, Maryland has been my home for the past 24 years. For the past 16 years, Baltimore City (Canton) has been home. My wife Dana and I met in Baltimore and now raise our two young boys here. Our entire family loves Baltimore City and all that it has to offer in the form of social and philanthropic experiences.

Interest In Baltimore Hunger Project: What stands out to me about Baltimore Hunger Project is the fact that food security, particularly at a young age, is a foundational building block towards one having the ability to focus, learn, and ultimately be successful in life. Learning from Lynne about the crisis of young people in my hometown experiencing food insecurity moved me as I see it as problem where there should not be one. This crisis can be solved. Baltimore Hunger Project is a part of the solution. Simply put, the mission of Baltimore Hunger Project resonated with me and thus I feel a desire to lend assistance and help.

Without volunteers, there is no Baltimore Hunger Project.
