Name: Paul M. D’Amore
Resides In: Crownsville
Professional Background or Current Role: Founder and Managing Member of D’Amore Personal Injury Law.
Community Connections: We moved here in 2000. We raised our three children here, and still reside in Crownsville. We own businesses that are based here, including D’Amore Law- which provides legal representation and advocacy to people in the Baltimore area who have been catastrophically injured. In doing so, we interact with many less fortunate members of the community, and see the real life challenges they face in trying to advance out of the poverty cycle. We participate in numerous community service events and run a foundation focused on providing education opportunities for less privileged and underserved citizens.
Interest In Baltimore Hunger Project: I have always believed success is the intersection of opportunity and hard work. Opportunity is often outside of our control, and we need others to provide it. I have always been committed to finding ways to do “my part” and provide others with the opportunity to succeed. BHP is providing opportunity to those in need at the most basic level. It is a textbook example of the “effective altruism” I have always sought to support.
